Winnette Jean Prater Payne, age 70, of Carnesville passed away on December 30, 2024 at her home.
Winnette was born in Atlanta, GA to William Prater and Maxine Prater. Winnette married James Vick Payne of Chattanooga. Winnette was a beautician and worked for the Jonie Parker Hair Studio in Duluth, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Vick Payne, Son Justin Payne and father William Prater.
Winnette is survived by her son Cameron Payne of Carnesville. Mother Maxine Beaty Prater of Carnesville, Brother Marion Prater of Carnesville and many nieces & nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
