Rhonda Nicholson

Rhonda Kay Ledford Nicholson, age 54, of Double Churches, passed away on September 2, 2025, at her residence.

Born on December 24, 1970, in Commerce, Georgia, she was the daughter of Ellen McClure Ledford and the late David Ledford. She was married to the late Mack Nicholson of Toccoa, Georgia. Rhonda was a member of Carnesville Church of God. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren, she enjoyed gardening and sharing her flowers with others, painting and faithfully played the piano at her church.

In addition to her husband Mack Nicholson and father David Ledford, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Lynn Ledford Cline.

Survivors include her children: Shelby (Avery) Teague of Carnesville, Melanie (Casey) Rochester of Seneca, SC, and Amber (Mark) Bolman of Carnesville; grandchildren Owen Rochester and Eli & Easton Bolman: her mother, Ellen McClure of Carnesville; brothers, Rev. Gary (Lori) Ledford of Carnesville and Ricky (Paula) Ledford of Carnesville; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Carnesville Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Gary Ledford officiating. A private family graveside will be held afterwards.
