Rhonda Andrews

March 16, 1953 — May 16, 2026

Rhonda Smith Andrews, age 73, of Carnesville, passed away on May 16, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on March 16, 1953, in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Pope Smith and Mildred King Smith. Rhonda was also preceded in death by her infant siblings, Miles Smith and Donna Smith; and grandchildren, Will Ford and Ches Ford.

Rhonda was the owner and operator of Magnolia Cottage Florist in Carnesville for over 20 years. She worked as a florist for much of her life and made many beautiful floral arrangements for others. She truly cared deeply for others and had a way of making people feel loved in times of celebration and in times of heartbreak.

She loved going to the beach with her husband and family and created many special memories with them there. Most importantly, Rhonda lived a life devoted first to the Lord and secondly to her family. Anyone who knew her knew of her deep love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rhonda was a charter member of Allen's Church and loved her church, community, and especially her family dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Andrews of Carnesville, GA; daughter, Nichole (Chet) Ford of Wasilla, Alaska; son, Jeremy (Carmen) Andrews of Waleska, GA; grandchildren, Jordan (Logan) Isit of Atlanta, Liam (Anna) Ford of Wasilla, Alaska, Gaven Ford of Hiawassee, GA, Caris (Case) Booth of Dewy Rose, GA, Worth Ford, Declan Ford, and Billy Ford of Wasilla, Alaska, and Josie Andrews, Chloe Andrews, and Brenson Andrews of Waleska, GA; great-grandchildren, Will Ford and Ariella Ford; along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Allen's Church with Rev. Mike Westbrooks, Pastor Reggie Vaughn, and Pastor Leon Carson officiating. Interment will follow in the Allen's Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Ginn Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses. Donations may be made by cash or check payable to Ginn Funeral Home.
