Ray Outz

Ernest "Ernie" Ray Outz, age 79, passed away on May 15, 2025 at his home in Canon, GA.

Ray was born in Franklin County to Jack and Nellie Baskins Outz. Ray married Mary Brooks Outz of Canon on April 7th 1978. Ray worked in pipeline construction as a pipe fitter for Union 798. He was a avid rabbit hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack & Nellie Outz. His siblings Grady Outz, Alton Outz, Dixie Outz, Sarah Chappell and Della Outz.

Ray is survived by his wife Mary Outz of Canon, five Children Allison & Casey Adams of Royston, Jeffery Outz of Canon, Janie & Jody Coulon of Canon, George Ray Outz of Canon and Jeffery R Outz of Canon. Grandchildren Carter Adams, Cole Adams, Ryleigh Outz, Reece Bridges, Blake Bridges and Haley Outz. Siblings Evelyn Beatenbough of Danielsville and Roger Outz of Bowersville.

Visitation will be held Sunday at Ginn Funeral Home from 1:00pm till 3:00pm.

Memorial services for Ray Outz will be held Sunday in the funeral home chapel at 3:00pm with Rev. Glynn Lyles presiding.
