Peggy Porterfield

Peggy Dean Porterfield, 72, of Carnesville, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 26, 2021, at her residence.

Born February 10, 1949, in Mecklenburg, North Carolina, she was the daughter of William Virgil and Belva Bradshaw Padgett. She was the widow of the late Ray Walter Porterfield. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Sabrina Fowler, of Hiawassee, GA; son and daughter-in-law Larry and Alana McMillian, Carnesville; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.

A memorial graveside service will be Wednesday at 1pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville, GA with Rev. Tim Holcomb.
