Pauline Hyde

Pauline Thomas Hyde, 88, of Carnesville, passed away Thursday morning at Pruitt Health Care in Toccoa, GA.

Born November 13^th, 1935 in the Red Hill community, she was the daughter of the late Waldo and Flossie Thomas. She was the sister of the late Geraldine Thomas & Hoyt Thomas of Carnesville and Paul Thomas & George Thomas of Atlanta. She was a homemaker and a member of Middle River Baptist Church in Carnesville.

Survivors include her husband Johnny L. Hyde of Carnesville. Children Kenneth & Kim Hyde of Bold Spring, Connie and the late Jamey Foster of Baldwin, Julian Meads of Carnesville, Shirley & Furman Williams of Carnesville, and James L. Hyde of Carnesville. Grandchildren B.J. Sorrow, Kristy Reed, Celina Chitwood, Lee Baugh Angel Baugh, Isaiah Meads, Krista Kirby, Hunter Hyde and Tanner Foster and numerous great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a sister Kathleen Hyde of Carnesville.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday afternoon at the BD Ginn Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Paul Jameson and Rev. Phillip Garrett. The burial will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens following the service.

Mrs. Hyde is at Ginn Funeral Home in Carnesville. The families are gathered at the home of Kenneth & Kim Hyde at 976 Bald Eagle Road in Carnesville. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00pm till 8:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Meals on Wheels in Carnesville Ga at 706-384-2500 and ask to speak to Pam Garrett.
