Patricia Ayers Tyner

Patricia Hunt Ayers Tyner, age 89, passed away on May 10, 2025 in Hartwell, Ga.

Patricia was born October 18th 1935, in Pelzer, SC to William and Eunice Hunt. Patricia was a graduate of Piedmont College. She worked at Federal Land Bank as a Loan officer. Patricia was also a member of Allen's United Methodist Church.

Patricia was preceded in death by her first husband Dan Ayers of 33 years and second husband Kenneth Tyner of 15 years. Her father William Leon Hunt and mother Eunice Hunt and sister Jo Lynn Gershen of Atlanta.

Patricia is survived by her two sons Danny & Robin Ayers of Carnesville and Mark & Sherrie Ayers of Carnesville. Six grandchildren Robert Clayton Ayers of Florida, William & Julie Ayers of Florida , Justin & Tiffany Ayers of Florida, Jacqueline & Bennji Streatman of Athens, Christopher & Chandler Ayers of Williamstown, SC and Jacob Ayers of Reed Creek. Twelve great grandchildren Abigail, Jordan, Paxton, Payton, Bella, Jacob, Sidney, Victoria, Jacob, Abbie, Stokes and Scottie. And 2 Great-great grandchildren Waylon and Braelyn. And sister Jackie Aquesta of Florida.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00pm till 2:00pm at Ginn Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Patricia Ayers Tyner will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Ginn Funeral Home with Rev. Britt Ginn officiating. Burial will follow at Allens UMC Cemetery.
