Margaret Louell Orr

Margaret Louell Johnson Orr, age 89, of Carnesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on April 26, 2026.

Margaret was born on September 10, 1936, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Hubert Johnson and Lillie Buice Johnson. She was a faithful member of Middle River Baptist Church and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to her family.

Margaret retired from ConAgra Poultry in Gainesville, where she served as a trucking superintendent. She took great pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her career.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Orr.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Orr of Carnesville; along with numerous cousins and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services for Mrs. Orr will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Ginn Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Ginn Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at 2:00 p.m.
