Virginia Lorene Davison, 93, of the Bold Springs Community, passed away Thursday morning, September 16, 2021 a the Brown Health and Rehab Center in Royston, GA.
Born February 10, 1928, in Bold Springs, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Edna Irene Cothran Davison. She was the sister of the late Doyle “Dock” Davison, Lamar Davison, Jimmie Lou Sharp, Dillard Davison, Louise Ashworth, Ellis Davison, and Thelma Fleischer. She was a retired seamstress and had worked at GA Sportswear and Carwood. She was a member of Middle River Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Olin and Gladyne Davison; sisters, Ruth Sparks Commerce, and Polly Farr, Augusta, GA; number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday afternoon at 2pm at the Middle River Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Davison.
The body is at Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
