Lindy Parker Brawner

Lindy Parker Brawner, 73, of Sandy Cross, passed away Saturday morning, February 18, 2023, at his home.

Born April 23, 1949, in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Jewell Edward and Oles Rebecca Carey Brawner.  He was the brother of the late Carolyn Pilgrim and Marshall Brawner. He was a veteran of the U S Army and National Guard, retired from ABB, and was a poultry farmer. He was a member of Middle River Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Shackelford Brawner; daughter, Jamie (Mike) Hambrick, Carnesville; Jason (Michelle) Brawner, Royston; grandchildren, Brannon Hambrick, Lauren Hambrick, Jacee Brawner, Madelyn Brawner, Heather Sanders, and Austin Sanders; brother, Edward Brawner, Royston.

Services will be 11am Tuesday morning at B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Jameson and Rev. Bert Synan.  Interment will be at Middle River Baptist Church.

The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at their home and will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 until 8pm.  Condolences may be left for the family at ginnfuneralhome.com.
