Kenny Voyles

Kenneth “Kenny” Dwayne Voyles, 66, of the Red Hill community, passed away at his home on July 13, 2025, after a brief illness. Born on April 5, 1959—his mother’s birthday—Kenny was the son of the late Tommy E. Voyles and Clidie Cole Voyles. After graduating from Franklin County High School, Kenny became the proprietor of T. E. Voyles Grocery, where he spent his entire adult life. He was preceded in death by his parents, T. E. (Tommy) Voyles and Clidie Cole Voyles, and by his niece, Donna Renee Voyles.

Kenny is survived by his brother, Gerald (Janice) Voyles; his sister, Janet (Emmett) Callahan; nephews Wesley (Katie) Voyles and Clint Callahan; nieces Sherry (Bobby) Smith and Tina (Greg) Rowland; seven great-nephews; one great-niece; one great-great-nephew; and his uncle, Tate (Margaret) Cole.

Funeral services' will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ginn Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Franklin Memorial Gardens North. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the local Sons of Confederate Veterans chapters, Franklin County Rangers or Currahee Rangers at, P.O. Box 206, Carnesville, GA, in Kenny’s honor.

The family will be accepting friends at the home of Kenny.
