Joyce Marie Epps

Mrs. Joyce Marie Epps, age 72, passed away on June 17, 2026, at Emory St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Born on September 26, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Charles Johnson and Syble Reed Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia.

Joyce was a homemaker who enjoyed a life centered around her family and home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Epps; her brother, Gene Johnson; her son-in-law, Mike Christopher; and her brother-in-law, Wayne Pettyjohn.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sabrina (Brooks) Weaver of Carnesville and Erica Christopher of Commerce; grandchildren, Kalei (Tyler) Weaver of Oglethorpe, Brandon (Jana) Weaver of Royston, Kaemon (Bella) Weaver of Carnesville, Zac, Tessa, Cameron, and Zoey Christopher of Commerce; four great-grandchildren, Chasie, Mason, Mack, and Myla; and her sister-in-law, Delores "Dodie" Pettyjohn.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Epps will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.
