Jamie Reno

Johnny James “Jamie” Reno Jr., 50, passed away Friday evening, February 16, 2024, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, in Athens, GA.

Born August 27, 1973, in Athens, Georgia, he was the son of the Johnny J. and Angie McClung Reno, Sr. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Arthur and Marvine McClung, and Guy and Mary Lou Reno. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and artist. He was a member of Franklin County church of Christ.

Johnny James “Jamie” Reno Jr. is survived by his parents, Johnny and Angela Reno Sr.; son, Johnny Reno III, daughters, Savannah Reno and Cecelia Rose Reno; sisters, Angel Jones and Miranda Nunns; brother, Benjamin Reno; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Services will be Sunday afternoon at 5pm at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel, with Arthur Howard and Gary Davis.  The family will receive friends from 3pm until 5pm at the funeral home Sunday afternoon, prior to the service.                 

The family is at the home of Miranda and Lukas Nunns, 344 Riverbend Drive, Royston, Georgia.
