Glen Huot

Glen Matthew Huot, 66, of Martin, passed away December 8, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital, in Lavonia, GA.

Born September 1, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was the son of the late Robert Lloyd and Ruby Lucille Abernathy Huot. He was the husband of the late Karen Elizabeth Newman Huot. He was the brother of the late Skip Huot, Ed Huot, Larry Huot, Bob Cash, and Doris Isbell. He was retired from Latexco of Lavonia. He was an avid surfer and hunter.

He was survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Gabe Russell, Carnesville; son, Glen W. Huot, Hartwell; grandchildren, Ethan, Makenzie, Carter, Xander, and Allie; and one brother, Paul Huot, of Long Beach, California, and sister-in-law Pam Huot of Arizona; nephew, Larry Huot of Texas, and two nieces, Elizabeth Huot and Vanessa Huot, both of California.

Services will be Wednesday afternoon at 4pm with Rev. Nate Bunner.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 4pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
