Gennelle Kirk Geer, 89, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday evening January 13, 2022, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
Born March 23, 1932, in Carnesville, she was the daughter of the late Willie Jefferson and Viola Mae Forrester Kirk. She was the wife of the late Edward Geer; mother of the late Harry Mullins Jr and Joyce Saylors: and sister of the late Ethel Norris and William Kirk. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Connie O’Connor, Sparta, TN; Sonja Coleman, Toccoa, and Darlene Andersen, Toccoa; 9 grandchildren, 25, great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister Willene Rogers, Eastanollee.
Services will be 2pm Tuesday afternoon at B D Ginn Memorial with Rev. Wayne Marcus. Interment will be at the Indian Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at their homes. They will receive friends from 12 until 2pm Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Condolences may be left at ginnfuneralhome.com
