Diana Mixon

Diane Lynne Mixon,  64, of the Sandy Cross Community, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 25, at her home.

Born March 2, 1958 in Eastman, Georgia, she was the daughter of Clara Stancil Young and the late Amos Lee Young. She was a retired restaurant manager, and had managed local KFC, Cracker Barrell, and Wendy’s. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband Tommy Mixon; mother Clara Young; children Justin, Jaime,  and Tracey; twelve grandchildren; brother Tim Young.

Services will be Thursday morning at 11am at Pennington Chapel Church, with Rev. David Bryan and Bob Thomason.  Interment will be Cary Memorial Gardens.
