William Daniel "Danny" Cabe, age 69 passed away September 10th, 2024 at his home in Red Hill community, Carnesville, GA.

Danny was born in Toccoa, GA to Max and Alice Trotter Cabe in 1955. He married Sharon Milford James of Canon, GA in 2009. He was a 1974 graduate of Franklin County High School in Carnesville, GA. Mr. Cabe retired from Carry On trailers in Lavonia, GA in 2017 where he served as a fabrication and welding inspector. He also served in the United States Army post Vietnam era, 1970's, in the Pacific theater. Danny had a passion for Scottish and Irish ancestry and enjoyed attending renaissance festivals with his wife Sharon. He loved riding his cruiser motorcycle in his spare time. Danny was also an active member of Allen's United Methodist Church and men's club in Martin, GA.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents Max and Alice Cabe and siblings Richard and Dale Cabe.

Danny is survived by his wife Sharon Cabe of Red Hill. His children Joshua Cabe of Oregon, Christopher and Sandra Farr of Athens, Stepdaughter Jennifer and Shane Mullins of Jefferson, Stepsons Benjamin and Natalie James of Atlanta, David James and partner Hannah Collins of Etowah Tennessee, and Paul James of Canon. Step Grandchildren Cole James and Avery James of Dawsonville Georgia, Sara and Austin McDearmid of Canon, Anna James and Ava James of Toccoa, Kelsi Brown and partner Cole Rousey of Bangor Maine, Kasay and Madison Hoxit-Brown of Jefferson, and soon to be granddaughter, Isabelle James of Atlanta. Great Grandchildren, Colson Rousey and Marley McDearmid.

Funeral services will be held at Allen's United Methodist Church on Saturday September 14th at 11:00 am with Paul Garner officiating. Interment services will follow the funeral service at Allen's UMC cemetery with Military Honors.

Visitation will be held Friday night from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, GA. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northeast Georgia Homeless Veterans Shelter or the  Food Bank of Northeast Georgia in Danny's Cabe's Honor.
