Charlotte Jo Ann Sheppard

Charlotte Jo Ann Sheppard, 61, of Carnesville, passed away Sunday evening, January 1, 2023, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born March 20, 1961, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Richardson  and Dorothy Elleen Sheppard Emory.  She was a retired seamstress. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Smith; daughter Kiesha Morris; sons, Mickey Morris Jr, and Danny William Morris; brother, Larry Wright; nineteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2pm Friday at B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ben Johnson.  Burial will be in the Poplar Springs Church Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until 2pm at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
