Carolyn Gene Farley

Carolyn Farley, age 76, passed away in Royston, Georgia.

Born on December 27, 1949, in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul Spurling and Edith Castle Spurling. Carolyn worked as a seamstress and took great pride in her work. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Farley; her son, Tayrn Atha; and her brother, Melvin Spurling.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Atha (Wanda) of Carnesville, Lonnie Atha (Danielle) of Senoia, and Bobby Farley of Gwinnett; her sisters, Linda Spurling and Jeanne Caballero; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends at Ginn Funeral Home on Saturday April 25th from 11:00am until 3:00pm.
