Timothy Bryon Standish jr

Timothy "Bryon" Standish Jr., age 40, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away on August 14, 2026.

Bryon was born on October 28, 1985, in Gastonia, North Carolina, to the late Timothy Bryon Standish Sr. and Suzanne Quickel Standish of Lavonia, Georgia. Bryon proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his tour of duty, he continued his commitment to serving others by working with various organizations, including the Salvation Army. His heart for service was evident throughout his life and in the work he chose to pursue. Bryon enjoyed hiking and spending time in the outdoors. He appreciated the beauty of nature and the opportunity to explore and enjoy the outdoors whenever he could. Bryon was of the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Bryon Standish Sr of Lavonia.

Survivors include his son, Timothy Bryon Standish III of Houston, Texas; his mother, Suzanne Standish of Lavonia; his siblings, Elizabeth Standish Forester of Clarkesville and Nathan Standish of Bowersville; and his grandfather, John Quickel of Lincolnton, North Carolina. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends for a Remembrance Visitation on Saturday August 29th, from 1:00 until 3:00pm at Ginn Funeral home.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Ginn Funeral Home to help defray cost.
