Mrs. Ann Louise Haga, age 91, of Franklin County, passed away peacefully at her home on April 1, 2026.
Mrs. Haga was born in Forsyth, Georgia on July 20, 1934, to the late William Speir and Stella Freeman Speir. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Haga; her daughter, Mildred Haga; her grandson, Reed Haga; and her sister, Jane Speir.
Mrs. Haga was a retired nurse, having faithfully served at Gwinnett Medical Center for many years. She was a devoted member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and was very active in children's ministry through Cross Roads Baptist Church and the Franklin County Good News Club. She had a deep love for her Lord, her family, and the children she served throughout her life.
Survivors include her children, Connie Claybrook, Gene Haga, and Bill Haga; grandchildren, Hal Haga, Beth ( Michael) Beard, Rachel (Marc) Haga-Canellas, Austin Claybrook, and Allison (Wes) Morphis; along with a number of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, please make a donation to your favorite charity or to Ann’s church (Cross Roads Baptist Church) in Carnesville.
