Angie Reno

Angela McClung Reno, age 70, passed away on September 4, 2025, at Piedmont Hospital in Athens, GA.

Angela was born in Hiram, GA, on October 26, 1954, to Thomas and Marvine Thurmond McClung. She married Johnny James Reno Sr. of Royston.

Angela was a devoted member of Franklin County Church of Christ in Sandy Cross. She was a homemaker who took pride in caring for her family and home. Angela was also a talented sign and portrait painter whose work was well known in the community. She enjoyed using her artistic abilities to create meaningful pieces, and her painting was both a skill and a hobby that brought her joy throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marvine McClung, and her son, Johnny (Jamie) James Reno Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Reno Sr. of Royston; children, Angelina Reno Jones of Royston, Miranda Reno (Lukas) Nunns of Royston, and Benjamin (Amberley) Reno of Royston; grandchildren, Savannah Reno, Johnny James Reno III, Cecilia Rose Reno, Alexis Jones Fulghum (Daniel), Addy Jones and Marly Jones, Ashley Nunns (Corey) Scoggins, Joshua (Savannah) Nunns, Caleb Nunns, Chase Nunns, Kohen Reno, and Kaisley Reno; and great-grandchildren, Preston, Jakari, Hunter, Waylon, Micah, Magnolia, Emersyn,

Funeral services will be held at Ginn Funeral Home on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., with Minister Gary Davis presiding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Graveside services will follow at Cary Memorial Gardens in Sandy Cross.
