Mr. Alfred Carroll McFarlin, age 65 of Hunters Creek Road, Toccoa passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A son of the late Reverend Hollis McFarlin and Bonnie McFarlin, he was born August 22. 1959 in Augusta, Georgia, having lived most of his life in Carnesville, Georgia. He was retired from the State of Georgia as a MCCD Officer. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and Hebron Masonic Lodge #564. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Lyle Sanders of Toccoa; grandchildren, Keilin and Talon Sanders.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at Acree-Davis Funeral Home..

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 28, 2025, 3:30 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with The Reverend Dr. Tommy Childress officiating. Military Honors by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard, Masonic Rites by the Hebron Masonic Lodge #564 and other honors by the Georgia DPS Honor Guard. Cremation will follow.
